Halloween Time
Boy do I love Halloween... This year the kids really were not as excited as I had hoped they would be. I guess they are just getting to old for this stuff. Makes me a little sad but kids do have to grow up and I guess that is what mine are doing. J worked really hard on C's costume and it turned out awesome. R was able to borrow her's from my best friend which worked out great. We had a great night and ate yummy food that J made. Halloween would not be Halloween without my mom's famous popcorn balls. I wonder what next year will hold. Here are the pictures from our awesome night :) Enjoy!!

I did it
So I have finally done it... I signed up for The Ragnar "Wasatch Back", the Ogden Half Marathon and will be signing up for the Salt Lake Half in the next couple of weeks. If you wonder why "I" someone who does not call herself a runner would sign up for these events just know that someone very important to me has shown me the light. Bunny was very into keeping in shape and being healthy and I have made that my goal as well. So I have decided to get going and running is where I will start.
I did my first official 5k which was the run for bun event. It was a very emotional day and to top it off a huge boulder jumped out in front of my causing me to ram into it with my knees. Yes I know only I could find a boulder and proceed to run into it. And no it did not stop me.. I kept going because who can stop when you hear the person you are doing it for telling you that you can do it. It was hard but I did it and I feel so amazing!! My legs would disagree but currently I am fighting with them.
So I have vowed to never say that I am not a runner! I may be slow but I try my hardest and that is all that matters. I know that Bunny is looking down and at times laughing at my attempt to run but also I can hear her pushing me telling me that I can do anything. I feel blessed everyday because I still am here and able to be with the ones I love.
Wish me luck!

It's been to long
It has been a very longtime since I have been on here. It has been crazy busy around here... some good some bad.
I decided that I needed to take some time away from blogging. I talked to a friend the other day about some of the things that have happened and she suggested to write about it so here it goes.
As most of you know my dear cousin bunny passed away in July. She was such an amazing person and has been greatly missed. I have had a really hard time with this and have been struggling. I know that she is watching us all and at times I think she is there with me.
I was thinking of ways to honor her and decided that I would run the Wasatch Back with some friends because Bunny was all about fitness and staying active.
There is also a great 5k planned in Bunny's honor on October 9th that I will be apart of.
I just can not believe how many lives Bunny touched. She will always be in my thoughts and I will live each day trying to be more like her.
If anyone is interested in donating or being apart of the 5K here is the link to sign up http://www.runforbun.com/ It should be up soon with all the registration info.
